Setting up FRITZ!Box for use with an EOLO line

The FRITZ!Box is optimally prepared for use with EOLO. Simply connect the FRITZ!Box to the internet connection and enter your personal account information in the FRITZ!Box user interface. The complete FRITZ!Box range of functions for internet, telephony, and multimedia is then available to all of the devices in your home network without restriction.

1 Having your account information ready

  1. Have your personal account information for internet access and the login information for telephony ready:
    1. The account information for internet access is in the email that EOLO sent you after you concluded the contract with them.
    2. You can call EOLO's customer service and ask them to give you the login information for telephony, for example the username and password.

2 Connecting the FRITZ!Box

  1. Use the "LAN 1" port to connect the FRITZ!Box with the internet connection from EOLO.

3 Configuring the internet connection in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click "Account Information" in the "Internet" menu.
  3. Select "EOLO" from the drop-down list.
  4. Enter the account information you received from EOLO in the relevant fields.
  5. Enter the speeds of your internet connection in the "Downstream" and "Upstream" fields.
  6. Click "Apply" to save the settings.
  7. Now the FRITZ!Box checks whether an internet connection can be established with the account information you entered. Configuration is completed as soon as the message "The internet connection check was successful" is displayed.

    Important:If the internet connection check fails, your internet access may not have been activated yet. In this case, contact EOLO.
