Loading the factory settings of the FRITZ!DECT radiator control

Load the factory settings to delete all of the individual settings you have made for the FRITZ!DECT radiator control. This makes sense if you are going to use the FRITZ!DECT radiator control at a different location or are planning to pass it on to another user, for example.

You can use the Menu button to load the factory settings of the FRITZ!DECT radiator control.

1 Deregistering the FRITZ!DECT radiator control

  1. Click "Smart Home" in the FRITZ!Box user interface or in the user interface of the FRITZ!Smart Gateway.
  2. Click "Devices and Groups" in the "Smart Home" menu.
  3. Click the "Delete Device" button.
  4. Afterwards, click the (Delete) button next to the respective device.
  5. Click the "Finished" button.

2 Performing a restart

Some of the radiator control's settings may remain in the FRITZ!Box or the FRITZ!Smart Gateway after it has been deregistered. Therefore, restart the FRITZ!Box or the FRITZ!Smart Gateway to delete all of the settings:

Restarting the FRITZ!Box

  1. Click "System" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click "Backup" in the "System" menu.
  3. Click on the "Restart" tab.
  4. Click the "Restart" button.

Restart the FRITZ!Smart Gateway

  1. Click "System" in the user interface of the FRITZ!Smart Gateway.
  2. Click "Backup" in the "System" menu.
  3. Click on the "Restart" tab.
  4. Click the "Restart" button.

3 Loading the factory settings

  1. Push the "Menu" button on the radiator control.
  2. Select the menu item "Zurücksetzen" and push "OK".
  3. Push "OK" again.
