Since updating FRITZ!OS, FRITZ!Repeater no longer works

Since updating FRITZ!OS manually or automatically, the FRITZ!Repeater no longer works. One or more LEDs on the repeater flash continuously or all LEDs are off. The update failed.

Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem is solved.

1 Restarting the repeater

  1. Unplug the repeater.
  2. Plug the repeater back in after about 1 minute.

2 Loading the repeater's factory settings

  1. Plug the FRITZ!Repeater in.
  2. Wait about 1 minute until the FRITZ!Repeater starts and the Power and WLAN LEDs remain lit or the LEDs of the signal strength indicator flash.
  3. Push and hold down the WPS button for about 15 seconds until all of the LEDs flash at the same time.

  4. The Power and WLAN LEDs remain lit as soon as the factory settings have finished loading.
