Setting up FRITZ!Repeater in the Mesh

You want to connect the FRITZ!Repeater with your FRITZ!Box and set it up in the Mesh? ✔ This step-by-step guide makes it easy.

The FRITZ!Repeater easily and efficiently adds an additional wireless access point to your home network. This way you will have ideal wireless reception and high-speed connections to the internet and home network, even when outside the wireless range (WiFi) of your FRITZ!Box.

Since the FRITZ!Repeater is automatically integrated into the FRITZ! Mesh during setup, it adopts all of the wireless settings from your FRITZ!Box, such as wireless access information and guest access, and can be used directly by all wireless devices in the home network.

There are various ways to connect the FRITZ!Repeater with your FRITZ!Box home network. Which connection type is best depends on the FRITZ!Repeater model being used and the operational environment.

  • you want to integrate a device without wireless support, for example an IPTV receiver, into the home network using a LAN port on the FRITZ!Repeater.
  • the FRITZ!Repeater should be repositioned quickly and easily if necessary.
