"0 Byte" shown for storage capacity of a USB hard drive
"0 Byte" is given as the storage capacity of a USB hard drive connected to the FRITZ!Box under "Home Network > USB Devices > Properties" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
1 Partitions larger than 4 terabytes in size are not supported
The FRITZ!Box supports partitions up to 4 terabytes in size. Normally you can still use the Windows Explorer or macOS Finder to access partitions that are 4 terabytes or greater in size if the USB storage device is configured as a network drive on the computer. However, it is not possible to use the FRITZ!NAS user interface (http://fritz.nas) to copy files to partitions that are 4 terabytes or larger.
- Reformat the USB storage device. Create no more than four partitions; no partition may exceed 4 terabytes in size, and they must all be formatted with the file system NTFS, FAT/FAT32 or ext2/ext3/ext4.
ATTENTION!Before you reformat the USB storage device, back up your data first because all of the data on it will be deleted during the process. Refer to the manufacturer for information on the formatting procedure.
