If you use the FRITZ!Box as a "wireless repeater", you can no longer enter to access the user interface. Instead, you can only use the IP address manually assigned to the FRITZ!Box.

If you have forgotten the IP address that was manually assigned to your FRITZ!Box, you can still open the FRITZ!Box user interface.

Note:The configuration procedure and notes on functions given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for your FRITZ!Box.

1 Opening the FRITZ!Box user interface

If you are using an additional FRITZ!Box as a wireless access point and FRITZ!OS 5.20 or later is installed on it, then you can access the user interface as follows:

2 Using an "emergency IP" to open the user interface

  1. Remove all network cables from the LAN ports on the FRITZ!Box.
  2. Push the "WLAN" button on the FRITZ!Box to disable the wireless network.
    • The WLAN LED begins flashing. The wireless network is switched off as soon as the "WLAN" LED goes off.
