Cannot register FRITZ!DECT 500
Registration of the LED light FRITZ!DECT 500 to the FRITZ!Box fails. After you push the DECT button on the FRITZ!Box, the DECT connection is not established. The LED light flashes red several times and then glows red.
Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.
Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem is solved.
1 Maximum number has been reached
You can register up to ten LED lights with the FRITZ!Box. If you already registered ten devices, you cannot register any more devices.
Note:Registering an LED light does not reduce the number of telephones, DECT repeaters, or the number of smart plugs, for example FRITZ!DECT 200, and radiator controls that can be registered.
2 Removing incompatible DECT repeaters
If a DECT repeater from another manufacturer or a FRITZ!Box 7390, 7270 or 7240 configured as a DECT repeater is registered with your FRITZ!Box, you must remove it. The LED light cannot be used with these DECT repeaters.
Note:If you need a DECT repeater in your network, you can use FRITZ!DECT Repeater 100 together with the LED light. However, the LED light must be in the reception area of the base station.
