Forgot MyFRITZ! password

If you forgot the password for your MyFRITZ! account, request a new MyFRITZ! password on and configure it in your FRITZ!Box.

Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.

1 Requesting a new MyFRITZ! password

  1. Enter in a web browser.
  2. Click the link "Assign or Change Password" below the fields for the email address and MyFRITZ! password.
  3. In the field, enter the email address you used to register with MyFRITZ!.
  4. Click "Request MyFRITZ! password".
  5. Solve the CAPTCHA.
    • Now MyFRITZ! will send an email to the email address you entered.

      Important:If you do not receive an email, the email has either been classified as spam or there is no MyFRITZ! account for this email address. In this case, check the spelling of the email address and the spam folder of the email inbox.

  6. Open the email you received from MyFRITZ! and click the button "Assign New MyFRITZ! Password".
  7. Enter a new password in the fields "New MyFRITZ! password" and "Confirm new password" and click "Conclude Submission".
    • Now the new password is valid for your MyFRITZ! account.

2 Setting a new MyFRITZ! password in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click "MyFRITZ! Account" in the "Internet" menu.
  3. Click the "Another MyFRITZ! account" link to the right of the email address.
  4. Enable the option "Register the FRITZ!Box with an existing MyFRITZ! account".
  5. Enter the new password in the "MyFRITZ! password" field and click "Next".
