For security reasons, additional confirmation can no longer be disabled starting with FRITZ!OS 7.50. If additional confirmation was disabled before the update, the setting remains disabled until you re-enable additional confirmation.

You can perform additional confirmation in the home network or over the internet. When accessing it from the internet and the home network, you can enter a confirmation code from an authenticator app (for example the Google Authenticator app). In the FRITZ!Box home network you can also confirm the execution of sensitive functions by pushing a button or entering a key sequence on a telephone that is connected to the FRITZ!Box.
