Adjusting the MyFRITZ! email notification

If you entered an email address for the MyFRITZ! report when setting up the FRITZ!Box, your FRITZ!Box also informs you by email when important events occur. For example, MyFRITZ!Net sends you emails when:

  • a FRITZ!OS update is available for the FRITZ!Box
  • you forgot your FRITZ!Box password
  • someone logs into your FRITZ!Box from the internet (maximum one email per hour)

If you set up a MyFRITZ account, you can set which notifications you want receive and which ones you do not want to receive any longer:

  1. Call up myfritz.net in a web browser.
  2. In the corresponding fields, enter the email address and MyFRITZ! password you used to register with MyFRITZ!Net, and click "Log In".
  3. Solve the CAPTCHA.
  4. Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the web page and then click "MyFRITZ! Settings".
  5. Click "Email Notifications".
  6. Select the email notifications you wish to receive and click "Save".
